My gf just got this phone, sanyo SPC-8100

well it works awesome all the way up until 2am or something, when she tells me it now says "*4" on the sub LCD... it goes away if i call or something, but then shows up after im done calling. why is this star 4 there?

her phone isn't broken, is it?

It could be that someone messed up her welcome sign or something. Go thru the settings and eddit it.. You sure you meant the 8100 or did you meant the 8200??
