webjal wont connect to my phone

I have read just about every FAQ under the sun. I have webjal installed and when i try to connect it says my phone is busy with another operation. anyone know how to fix this?
edit: trying to connect with an i830 and an i275

make sure you arent running any java apps, try power cycling your phones also make sure if you are using USB that u have the USB checked in the options. If it still isn't working make sure you have at least webjal 3.

I had the same problem until I downloaded the update for the phone that you can get at motorola.com. After I updated the phone, it worked. It took me a couple of days to finally get mine connected but I finally did.
