how do I get the new firmware installed on my SE s710a?

I am in the detroit MI area?

I was told my Cingular CS to bring it to my store and get a new FW installed. So I did, droped it off, they said they did the update.

shure as Teddy bear has cotten balls, they didnt do anything!

Dissapointed, I am going to bring it back and see what they have to say. any ideas?

Cingular does not do firmware updates. Try one of hofo's sponsors like iunlock.com.

I'll double check my R2 phone but I'm pretty sure the URL entry issue wasn't fully corrected. The menu speed was improved in the last version (first commercial one IIRC)

back to the question, you'd have to do an exchange via XBM since stores don't do updates

well blow me down. Never bothered to check but the "off" option for the camera sound is there in R2A
