Well, my T616 on Cingular, which I have had for about a year and a half, has been slowly crapping out on me. I have decided that my next phone will be a K750i from howardforums.com.com. I have some questions below:
1. From what I hear, all I need to do is pop in my sim and follow the on-screen instructions to get myself started. Is it as simple as this?
2. I heard that I need certain Cingular-specific settings for such features as MMS, WAP, email, etc. Where can I get all of these settings? I have a gmail account for email.
3. I get horrible reception in Los Angeles with my T616. Will the K750i be better?
4. What is a 64k sim card? What are the benefits of using one? At what cost can I aquire one?
Thanks,
-Elliot

1. should be if its unlocked
2. Check the Cingular FAQ, or use the search tool, youll find what you need.
3.Probably not by much, but that depends on a lot of factors (service, condition of phone, ect.)
4. In so many words, 64K SIM assist's in your phne ability to pick up roaming partners more consistently. They are usually $25, but most corp locations will give you one for free..
