I erroneously assumed since my phone was capable of taking pictures, I would be able to download them to my computer. Am I wrong here? I have no problem syncing my v551 to my Powerbook. I see three folders. Pictures Audio and Video. I can upload pictures to my phone but I can not see or download pictures to my computer. Is there a work around for this? Is there a software hack to restore functionality? I see there are so called flex patches ect. I resent not being able to control the flow of my content. I have no problem paying for Cingular services rendered but crippling functionality to reroute content through Cingular should be my choice. |

This is how: 1) Under the bluetooth menu, click "Browse Device" 2) Pick your phone and click "Browse" 3) You will see three folders, one of them being "picture." Double-click on it. 4) You should now see your photos. Highlight the ones you want and click "Get..." 5) Pick a location to store them (like the Desktop) and click Save. That's it. For reference, my phone is running software version: R472_G_08.18.16R_0A (to find out what version you're running, dial: *#9999#) Cheers. |
