I have uploaded ringtone's to my phone and heard them on my phone but when i set the ringtone to play when i get a call it does not play at all. It seems to not be able to load or something. I took about 20 seconds from an mp3 file and made it to be at 46 kb's at 22050 equalling about 110kb file size and i changed the extension from .mp3 to .dat. I also included the .gcd file. Like i said it plays fine when i select it to play manually. It just doesn't play by itself when the phone rings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

had the same prob on my 8410 (uscc)

try to lower the file size a lil bit

decrease bit rate to 32 and try samplin @ 11025 khz the difference should be enough that you can increase length to 30 secs
