Alright, I have been looking for days now...And i am extremely frustrated!
I just got my USB cable for my LG VX 7000...and plugged it in, of course my computer didn't recognize it.
I installed everything got the drivers up and running (after some troubleshooting) and for the first time, i got the blue screen of death. So i rebooted everything re-did all the drivers...transferred a ringtone successfully...and 10 min. later, i got the blue screen again. And again. Everytime i have to reboot i have to reinstall the drivers and everything. And then a few minutes later or so the blue screen will pop up again.
So my question....i'm using the disc that came with my cable from cellphonemall.net...and those are the drivers that are giving me this bluescreen.
I've tried many other drivers....and none seem to work.
So i was hoping somebody would post as many drivers for the Lx 7000 that they know of so i can try them all...I can't even get the ones from cellphonemall.net to work anymore.
PLEASE HELP
Thanks.

But it still didn't work. It's got to be something with my usb cable or my computer, i am thinking it is the usb cable.

on the manager at the top, i think left top, it will say what port the phone needs to be on. Go inside your device manager and see if your lg phone is on that port. If it isnt and the port you need is in use, just switch them, windows will gripe, blahh blahh, switch anyway, it will wash.

Also in your phone, make sure data is at "usb"

EDIT: Nm, found it...but this is what its at...
1. Portmap(data) is at "USB CDC"

3. Diag Baud(UART) is at "38400"

Well the cable is not the phone.....

the data settings, go into the menu-main settings--there you should see data settings

Yeah, i updated my post.

And i must've worded that in a bad way, i meant that when i plug in the usb cable to my computer (connected to my phone) it does not recognize the 'device' and a phone.

ok
unplug it all
go into the device manager and make sure your lg modem port is not there, if it is, uninstall it
do the same for your lg com port.
reboot
plug the cable in first
let the system get on itself, when all the sounds and dialog crap boxes stop--plug your phone onto the cable.

Keep em coming!!!

Set your phone's baud to 115200, and then it should appear in QPST on COM4.
