you will need a zip program to unzip it, winrar, winzip, winace works just fine.

now the phone.

enter the ip of the proxy server.
you will have 2 locations to enter the address of the server, you can only enter one and delete the other, or put the same address in both.

dont worry about the port settings, they will need to stay the same, and anyhow you cant change them.

you password--if you choose to use the nowap program you will see where to input that information into the program, other than that, leave it blank.

it has all the goods from start to finish and you dont need to pay for it.

reset browser---if you get stuck, dork things up too much, or whatever, hit the reset browser and it will reset the browser settings for you. Then just start over.

pros and cons of using a publix proxy server........

if it shows it, its most likely up and may be for a while.

you will never know when the ip will lease out on the public server.

your own server---

ful controll of the server itself---you dont need a pc running a server program per say, you can run it on win me, xp and xp pro.

if your ip ever changes, you will know what it is from your isp provider.

When I try it, it says that that a connection could not be made. Of course, I'm doing this from another computer on the same network behind the same router, so that could have something to do with it. Any help you could give me is greatly appreciated. I'm fairly knowledgable about computers (fix everyone elses) but feel like an idiot trying to set this up with no progress. Thanks.
