im sorry i just cant wait for this phone to come out

WHat? You don't have one? I walked into my local Cingular agent in April and picked one up. I also have a Nokia quad-band with telepathic features--no more bluetooth headset for me!

Seriously though, there have been a ton of threads on this phone.

That's the current rumor.

Today is the 14th.

Whenever Nokia decides to sell it to non-wireless providers (online phone stores, etc.)

Many would agree that the cost will be somewhere in the $0-400+ range.

No one can, although I expect the starting price will kill alot of excitement. I plan on waiting a bit (*gasp* waiting?!) for the price to go down and let some of the early bugs get worked out.

Typing the thread topic in CAPS isn't going to make the phone available any faster.

Man, whadda jerk. To be honest, IHAP, my personal goal is to just once, have a phone before you either have it or have heard of it. One of these days I will do it. : no hard feelings for now, though.

They've also had the Motorola A630 on there, too. But we all know that story...

Posted by: Rcadden

Well I called, and they don't have them, she said she looked in the warehouse, too, but nothin. The girl was real nice, and seemed educated. When I told her the model number, she goes, "Is that that Nokia flip phone?" Interesting...and yes, i asked while I had her on the phone, she said they don't have that one, either.

That Cingular image got me interested in URL playing. Now you see the Nokia 6620 on their pages as:

Now here's a Nokia 6682

I just wished I new the SKU of the 6682 OR I wish Cingular's web pages were more like Rogers with the phone name in the URL.

AWWW there is a A630 as well

I haven't given up hope!!

I have to say I kinda like that theme on the 6682. Lol.

I HIGHLY doubt it, specially given the controversy over whether the 6620 was covered. Last I heard it wasn't. I have heard alot about Cingular (and other carriers) introducing tiered insurance policies, with coverage for the higher-end phones, though also with higher premiums and deductibles. I think the whole insurance thing is bunk. With Lock/Line, you aren't guaranteed the same phone back, and the better phones are always on back-order anyways, so you have to wait. That kinda defeats the entire purpose of insurance, imo. Plus, I bought me a backup phone for alot cheaper than what insurance costs, and I just take that if I'm going to the pool or whatever. I'm pretty careful with my phones, given the investment I have in them.

Posted by: xj911

I had my 6620 replaced twice through lockline so I don't see why they wouldn't cover it.

I had heard both ways, and when the phone originally came out, there was much discussion as to wether or not Lock/Line covered it.

Posted by: ExOrCizT

also the price is going to be what? $350 with a 2 year contract? up or down?
