I have recently purchased a memory card for my T-Mobile SDA.I have now downloaded all the ringtones, sms tones etc to my card and now i want to use them. The problem i have is at first it didnt recognise the ringtones on the memory card and was only showing the standard tones.I've read through most forums to solve it and i found that using RJV Regtweaks can in fact change the phone to show the tunes on my phone from the memory card but....when they are selected it doesnt play the tunes you want just some t-mobile crap that was originally on the phone. If i go into my memory card it plays the tunes as normal but selecting them to be your default ringtone or sms does not! Can anyone help?

Put the ringtones on the root directory of the memory card. I have a MPx 220 and this is what I have to do to get it to work. If I put them in folder on the memory card then the phone can't see them and I can't select them as a ringtone. I don't know if this holds true for your phone but you can try and see.

No Problem....on your phone do you have a app in the Start Menu that says File Explorer? If you do go there and you will see Storage Card you need to put your mp3 and other rigntones there in that folder.
You can also connect your phone to your computer and when ActiveSync comes up you can hit the explore button and go to \Storage Card and store them there. I don't know if this will work for your phone...but its worth a try.
The root directory is the begianing folder.
