Guys I dont know if this is new or old but 7270? Am I reading corrently it has wifi?

Can you surf on wifi and use VOIP?

Im confused can someone clarify all this?
Also is it GSM?

It's 802.11b ONLY. And it allows VOIP conversations. No GSM, CDMA, IDEN or Mobitex. For corporate/large enterprise customers.

Every time I see someone bring this up, they think it has GSM. It certainly doesn't say that on RIM's site. Where are you reading that? What site is spreading that miinformation?

As jase88 said, 802.11b. It's attractive to corporations that have full-scare wireless deployed over their office locations because there is no recurring cost for the service; you buy the device and that's it, just like a laptop connecting to the wireless network there's no service charge. Personally, I would be in nirvana once they do put GSM and 802.11 together in one BB.
