i received a NK 6620 from the insurance company since my old was lost. They sent it to me with a 32mb card. the problem is that it has a password! Now nobody wants to replace it for me (neither insurance company nor nokia).

is there a way to get that **** password off?

Welcome to HoFo,

feel free to post in the Series 60 Forum:

http://series60.howardforums.com

Tip: Go to www.gosymbian.com and download the English version of FExplorer. It allows you to browse the system files and any apps/data stored on your phone. It lists the phone's contents by drives. C: is the internal phone memory, D: is for temporary files such as WAP data, E: is your MMC drive and Z: is the system files drive.

Install the FExplorer.sis file to your phone and run FExplorer. Go to C:\Nokia\System and look for a file called mmcstore. Rename it to mmcstore.txt. Open the file from FExplorer, that will tell you the MMC's password.

I haven't used my S60 phone for some time so be sure to ask in the Series 60 forum as well.

Good Luck

there's no such file neither in C:\nokia nor in c:\system... find feature can't find it either...

Then you'll have to ask in the S60 forum since the file may be located elsewhere on the C: drive on the 6620.

If you have a card reader, you could try reformatting the card - or you could try reformatting it from the phone...
