OGOs on eBay

They're selling OGOs for like $20-$50 on eBay. Is there any point? I'm a Cingular customer, with Cingular SIM. Thanks.

Don't think there is much of a purpose. The only point I've ever seen with an OGO is for texting...but with the use of T9 I don't think that unless you are doing some hardcore texting or IM'ing (which I'm not sure the OGO even supports) the QWERTY keyboard is pointless...

Ogos are sim locked to AT&T so nope

not only are ogo's stupid IMO, but you can't activate new ones anyways. The only reason to get one of the ones from ebay is if you already have an ogo plan and you need/want a new one

The Ogo does support IM, you get one out of the box (AOL, YIM, MSN) and can add extra ones.

It's also a really good way for people who are hearing impaired to communicate without the expense of a BB/Sidekick.
