strange T-mobile txt message behaviour....

When I check my T-Mobile voicemail (whether or not there is a ny messages) always get a wierd text message with no content and 2 symbols as the title.

I erase it...call again...and I get it again....

Any clues?

Those are specially formatted text messages that your phone is supposed to use to turn the voicemail indicator on and off. My TM200 doesn't recognize them as it should, either, and gives me those annoying text messages. Some phones, like Motorolas, can be modified so they'll work properly, but I don't know of any fixes for Sharp phones.

i have a sharp tm150 and live in the houston,tx market which has not been switched over to the new converse vm system yet so when this market gets switched the vm indicator will not work right on the phone are is that just on the tm200? what about the other phone i have they are listed above in my phone list?

The voicemail indicator will work fine on your TM150 since it's a US market phone, but a TM200 still won't work right. There's some difference between the US and European methods of switching the voicemail indicator on and off so European phones brought into the US often have problems. I'm not sure about your other phones. Are they all US models?

eh i was wondering what that sms is everytime i call voicemail :/ jpn firmware didn't do it.

when i hold the #1 button it would error instead of call voicemail also. very weird

yes all are us model phone bought from t-mobile us.

Got the same problem with my GX30. the problem start to happen right after they switch to new voicemail system.

where's the voicemail indicator on the 902? i get that message everytime i check the voicemail... kinda annoying now
