Panasonic X70 volume too low..

My friend has the panasonic x70. He likes it but has one big complaint. He can barely hear with it sometimes. It is much lower than my ipaq. Is there anything he can do to increase it? If not, he likes the panasonic brand. Is the other models have the same volume? Like the x11 or x700?

Yes the volume is low on X70 and Gx8x. That being said, the ear hole is very small, I would recommend that your friend try adjusting the phone on his/her ear . Especially since you intone that the problem is intermitant. X700 is much better and very useable. My only complaint is that it could be somewhat louder on the ringtones, but it is very useable. I have no experience with the X11.
