My wife is partially disablied and has trouble using cell phones. She has problems hitting th wrong buttons. I am considering the KX2 for her because of it's size and keypad size. It also can voice dail while closed and you can anweer calls also.

Does anyone have any feed back onthis phone that they can share!!

thanks

As long as you program the voice dial just for her. It only learns for one person, so it wont recognize both of your voices.

Depending on how much you use it, you may have to charge it EVERY day, or you may have to get a bigger battery.

There are several silly little things the phone wont let you do... For instance, you have to turn the speakerphone on BEFORE you close the phone because you cant enable speakerphone with the phone already closed. Also when you end a call "closed and in speakerphone mode", it turns the speakerphone off again, so you have to open the phone and turn the speakerphone option on again. Don't ask me why...

All in all, it's a really good phone and if your wife has problems with the phone recognizing her voice, there is a Voice Training mode, but don't use it unless you have problems.

I've had the phone since April....great phone i managed to get Free Wap working for Verizon...only one advice for you : Don't drop the phone!

overall the koi is one of the best functional phones that i have used in a while... it is just the right size as far as buttons and ease to talk on... but i do agree with kg21ws99 the ringers and speaker phone are not at all loud enough in fact in some noisy situations i find myself using the speakerphone as the regular earpiece... kinda hard of hearing too many loud car audio systems in my younger days (and yes i have tried using the smart sound i found no difference)

enough of my rambling...

to answer your question yes this will be a very suitable phone for your wife.

Its a great phone and can be configured to be very user friendly, especially if yo are left handed (lol for all those people who tried to open with one hand).

I have had it since November 2004 (its original release with Verizon) so its been with me for a while and it seems fine - no problems. It does not require patience as it performs a lot faster than the SE47.

Answer: Buy it, good phone.
