try formatting it? I think there is some way to do it? like hold the pencil button down when u power up or something like that ... search around for that info... im not 100% sure on that.

On newer Series 60 phones (6600/6620/7610), the sequence is slightly different:
power the phone off,
press and keep down the keeys green/talk + ’3’ + ’*’, - power on the phone.
release the keys when the formatting starts.

i found that info.. good luck

sounds like wsod to me...flash perhaps?!

Or it sounds like someone's not used to a phone taking so long to start-up. It takes all Symbian devices around a full minute to turn on, as opposed to under 15 seconds for others. The 6630 is a lot less in time, but still longer than non-smartphones. Are you sure you aren't just giving it enough time?

take the rs-mmc out, plug in the charger, try turning it on.

omg i dont wanna happen that to my phone!

Posted by: angel_wing0

oh no one wants that to happen to their phones

That happened to me on my 6620 after I put a pic that was too large for a start up logo. I finaly got it started up and I quickly took it off. It has never done it since.
