I had no problems working with QPST on my workstation at home deleting the sound.dat file and uploading ringtones to it.

But on mu laptop I keep getting this error when I try to upload a ringtone to it.

It sais:

An error occured while trying to write to /user/sound/ringer/woohoo.mp3

error code 65535.

I thought maybe because the extension might have been the problem I changed it to woohoo.mid. I still get the error. Does anyone know why I am getting this error and what I can do to resolve it?

I was able to backup my entire tree using bitpim. Bitpim downloads everything off the phone just fine. I don't know if BitPim will upload though. I don't see how it can I looked for that option everywhere.

Anyhow back to QPST. If I can delete the /dload/sound.dat file why won't it let me write files to the phone?

Thanks

I cannot copy or write to the phone. I can only delete files on the phone.

Does this make sense at all to you?

Is there a good FAQ link to QPST FAQ?
