Download and install Total Commander. It's better than the built-in file manager.

i dont need file manager, but the appz that allow to read word docs... i don't remember the english name, 'cause in this rom (1.47 European) i cant find it :P

Yea that ROM doesn't have it.......and its built in to the ROM I believe so I don't think anyone can extract it...well maybe....I haven't tried it but maybe someone can try to extract File Viewer for you.

I have file viewer and clearview suite.

For the record, when I didn't have clearview suite, I used the file viewer once. Only once. It's a pain and not real useful. You view every document as an image and you can only scroll around and zoom like you're viewing a picture.

Clearview Suite supports everything the file viewer supports but it does it in a usable way. Hard to explain but it's worth the money...

I really don't see the difference. With clearvue, you have to zoom and scroll around just as in file viewer. Just plain wasted my money on clearvue because some guys sang it's praise on this forum. It's useless. I wish MS would just add support for office in the smartphone or someone come up with a smartphone equivalent of Document-to-go. Something like Ptab for the rest of the office suite.

Are you sure the file isn't in ROM and you just don't have a shortcut? I am holding off installing 1.47 until we get this figured out.

If someone knows a way to copy files protected in ROM, I'll send the necessary files. I tried Total Commander (which allows it on the PPC) but it doesn't work on the MPx220.

Have you tried the link to total commander? That is earlier on this page. It's a very good file explorer.

I'm sure: the files aren't in new ROM 1.47.I don't know because not there's it.
I have try ClearVue Suite but i like so much File Viewer (or Picsel Viewer renamed) but being unavailable for installing (Picsel Viewer)i'm forced to use ClearVue.

For me is better File Viewer!
