A simple Google search would have taken you here!

Motorola does make a Stereo Radio headset, that plugs into the bottom of the phone and provides radio with a separate volume control.

I have had mine since my V60 days but I am quite sure it still works with more current Moto phones.

I don't think you would be able to get clear reception on the radio part without the special headset as part of the cord is the antenna.

Have a good one.

The one I got for my v60 works well on my v505 and v300.

The thing is... I know that there is this as an accessorie, but i would like to know if there is any SOFT, like the MP3 Player, that could do the job. I already have my stereo headset that came with my v635, so...

This is what I meant by 'the cord is the antenna'. The FM radio application could be on the phone, but it wouldn't get very good reception because of the lack of an antenna.

I will try a little harder... I guess it would work ok at most open areas like parks and nearby some stations...

The FM hardware is inside the headset in this case, I believe. It would be like trying to make your computer play DVDs in a CDROM drive by installing a new program on the system. Not gonna happen!

Hey, I just got this radio headset and hooked it up to my V635. I get the Radio button that allows me to turn radio on/off and seek forward and backward, but I can't do presets. Any ideas?

yes you will need the radio adapter no way around it...

I have one of these FM Radio headset and it works for my V635 I can get the FM Radio stations in "Stereo" but when I place or get a call, veiw videos, and listen to music via the MP3 player or the playlists under the sounds menu. I only get sound from one side (one earpiece)....Has anyone gotten stereo sound from the phone and not the FM Radio???

I also have the Stereo headset that plugs into the 2.5mm jack and that gives me stereo sound for everything, except the FM radio....

perhaps there is only 1 audio channel from the plug on the bottom??? I've tried to look for some pinout's for the phone but was unable to get usefull info....

anyone....

It's pretty simple, just like most car radios...

Dial your station. Hold the 1 key until it accepts the station as preset 1. Dial another station. Hold the 2 key until it accepts the station as preset 2. Etc, etc, etc.
