i'm wanting to start up a new family plan but cant find any offers that don't take forever to get.

i figured out that for the letstalk.com offers... you could have to wait up to 250 days before you get your rebate!

granted, my phones end up being basically free in the long run... but 250 days is a LONG time to wait.

are there any sites that offer better (quicker) deals? amazon is a no go since they don't do family plans (insomuch as you can only get rebates on your first phone... subsequent phones don't qualify for rebates).

it just depends on the deals available at the time of your order...letstalk, wirefly, amazon, buy.com, all sometimes have instant rebates, or immediate mail-in rebates w/o having to wait until so many months on a contract...but they are more uncommon...but they do exist from time to time...

i don't know what other folks think of letstalk, but my friend ordered from them and it turned out to be a royal mess, doa phone, and they ported his number immediately and he was then out of a phone for 2 weeks waiting on resolution w/ the doa phone...real mess, terrible customer service...

anyway...only guaranteed mail-in rebates that take effect immediately are typically those offered by the carrier...
