I've noticed that when I charge the X70 to full then turn the phone off it would eventually discharge the battery. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, I notice when charging there is a red light, does anyone know how to turn this off?

There is a clock in the phone that runs all the time. The coin cell in the phone will only run for about 2 weeks and it charges of the main battery. Batteries as a function when left connected will discharge slowly anyway. You don't want that, unplug the battery.
As for the charge light EVERY cell phone has a charge indicator of some kind. You can not turn it off.
