Am I correct in assuming that I can simply enter my provider supplied subsidy code to repeatedly unlock my RAZR even if I flash it with a flex that is locked to a provider?

If your phone is really simlocked then you just enter your subsidy code. If it's not locked and you only get an error at startup just follow the link in the preceding replay.
