Sony Ericsson s710a MP3 Ringtones Help

I downloaded an MP3 from my PC to the s710a, I would like to set it as a ringtone, but I have no idea how...It does not give me an option. This is not a download from a site that sells ringtones but the MP3 comes from my files.

Does anyone have any idea on how to do this or even if this can be done?

This should be in the PHONES forum!!!

I believe you go into file manager then select that audio file and set as ring tone.

I'm can't get mine out right now or I'd tell you exactly.

On my S710 the MP3 ringtones are listed along with all other ringtones (under Settings, Sounds and Alerts then Ringtones).

This was the same with mine. It should say the file type next to the names of the songs/ringtones.

Uhhh, there's a huge announcement at the top of the forum.
