I found a program that will allow you to sync iTunes to a non-iPod devices. Any device that acts as a USB Drive, which is what the SD card does, can be sync'ed. If interested, check out the site here: http://www.badfruit.com/. You are looking for a program called BadApple.

This is for MP3 files.

Per the FAQ from the site:
Does BadApple work on Macintosh computers?

Currently, BadApple only works on Microsoft Windows computers. If there's interest, a Macintosh version could be made.

This is possible, a program called The Missing Sync. When connected with the cable, your SD card will show in iTunes as a playlist. Pretty cool program.
