i have had so many problems with this phone.....
Biggest thing is i get these new im clients and i have not signed on to AIM. heck today all day new client new client new client, finally hit view.....waited 5 min for aim to load then it did not tried 10x finally loaded but thinging on buddylist so i go through the sign off process tells me im signed off, 2 min later new im client all over again EVEN AFTER i take the battery out....

2nd, phone locks up it will start the day with you hit the nav key then it acts like it is stuck 30 min later phone is locked up during the screen saver ( clock ).

Dont got some text messages, and some phone calls either.

Anyone else have any of these problems......my biggest hate is how aim works on this phone but any other phone signs on in seconds not minutes and signs off when it says it does.

my recommendation:

get a series60 device such as the 6620 and download Agile messenger (free). This is by far the best AIM client on a phone!!

The only problem that I have had with my 6230 is the IM application as well. I really don't mind it because I don't use IM on my phone.. it just takes forever to sign in, and doesn't display all of my buddy list.
