Hotmail doesn't support POP or IMAP, therefore you can't use it with VersaMail, or any other 3rd party mail program. You can use Blazer (treo's web browser) to log into your hotmail account. I'd recomend getting a email account that supports POP and or IMAP. There are tons of free ones out there. Search google, or for $19.00 a year-Yahoo supports POP. Whatever works for you.

Try bluebottle.com. It has POP and IMAP. It is also FREE!!!!

I thought if you paid a small fee Hotmail makes your account POP3.

You actually don't need to pay the 19.00$ a year for yahoo. All you need is the instructions to do it. All they do when you pay for it is supply you with the link to the setup. If you get a yahoo.ca account, it's got the link automatically in the options page.

I use my gmail acct with my treo and it works great. If you want one just drop me a pm and I'll send you an invite. Dunno if hotmail allows it, but if they do, you can always forward your email to a different address that allows pop.

Why are you soooo late with this information???
This makes sence, but what a total bummer, I've paid two years in a row. I'm using a .mac IMAP account now, so it really doesn't matter anymore. But now I guess I can stop recomending it.

I use MSN mail (not Hotmail) on my Outlook. I think Hotmail can do the same. Download the Outlook Connector and it would appear in the Outlook. Setting it up is easy, it involves signing in to MS Passport. It uses a MAPI not POP.
I am not sure if there is a way to set it up on the Treo though.
May be someone or someother 3rd party software can do this.
