Knowledge I love ALL the ringtones you've created thus far and I have this one request. Can you PLEASE take the voice outta this ringtone & just have the opening music from say 4 seconds before the first line of lyrics, please?? I'd love to use this as an alarm & a ringtone. What would be funny is me, and the other brotha's in the hood, answering a ringtone like this around the boys in Lil' Italy here in Toronto. They would love it too btw.

Thanks much in advance. Great work btw.

Thanks Buddy for all of the compliments, I apreciate it

Unfortuneatly, I cant re-make this particular one... ALOT of time went into this particular ringtone, and I dont it saved so I can juse re-edit it... If I did it wouldnt be a problem but I dont usually save it... I sit there for a few hours untill I get it perfect (to my ears at least) and then I save it out, and delete the rest of the files...

I'll see if I can make something else as an alarm though... You only need it to be about 4 seconds?

Posted by: Prom1

yeah that would be great if you can, when you got the time.

Many thanks man.

I'm looking for the midi ringtone that Tony uses. Can't seem to find it anywhere. Any ideas?

Posted by: Knowledge

It should be an old Ericsson ringtone called "Ericsson" but I have no idea how or where to get it.

i had no luck finding the actual ringtone from sonyericsson so i went a diff route and i separated the audio of the first new episode of 2007 (6x13?) and cut out the part where tony is sitting on the deck by the lake and christopher calls him
theres two files in the zip i made and put on sendspace @ http://www.sendspace.com/file/apl6m3
the first is Tony Soprano Ring.mp3 which is the sound raw from the show with two rings but im pretty sure he moves in his rocking chair in btwn rings which i thought was annoying so i cut the first ring out and made a file with only the second ring, than i dehissed it and cleaned up some of the noise and added an extra second so the timing of the ringtone is better when its repeating also i boosted the gain by 6dB and this file is called Tony Soprano Ring cut and dehissed.mp3
if anyone is any good at audio editing now is your time to shine!!!
is there a way to clean it up any more and get rid of the sound of tony hitting the answer button on his phone and just the general outdoors noises?
if not then w/e
enjoy!
that link again is http://www.sendspace.com/file/apl6m3

EPVQ30, Thanks! "By A Fan, For A Fan" hehe

Angel, yeah... Your probably right on that one

Posted by: ab0rt

EPVQ30 no prob buddy enjoy!

Posted by: ab0rt

hmm so im thinking that maybe this past weeks ep where tony gets a call in the hotel (i think thats when it happened) it seemed pretty silent....might be a better place to rip the tone out of
guessing noone knows enough bout audio editing to fix the noise out of the first one i made or doesnt have the time...
anyone know a program that i can try to do it with? adobe audition was what i used for the first one...maybe i dont know how to use it properly (probably dont) and it is powerful enough to do it but maybe i need another more powerful prog

Posted by: EPVQ30

yes i heard the tone when tony was in the hotel in las vegas. that sounded good!
i can't belive he offed christopher! good episode. about time.

Posted by: Knowledge

I agree, it was a good episode... but why did he do it! That was so wrong.... Everybody loved Christopher, why kill him!? I dont think I like where David Chase is taking this....

Posted by: EPVQ30

he told Dr Melfi that Chris was a liability, he was weak and possibly turn on Tony if caught by the feds. the fact that he was not going to pass the drug test was a deal braker for him.
this is the last season so the ship is getting ready to sink under the key players.

Really? Its mostly used in CDMA phones as far as I know.... I think thats how Sprint phones use Ringtones.

Ill see what I can do.

EDIT: I tried messing around with that file and some of the QCP converters I have, and none of them recognize that file....

Posted by: angel_wing0

no wonder i have never heard of it...i dont use cdma

Posted by: lowe_75

Is there still a way to get the soprano tone. the last link takes me to a site that needs to pay $10 to get it??
