I currently have a sidekick 2 and I'm having some problems with it now and then, dropped it too many times I guess.

So I'm wondering if I should get the treo 600 through Tmobile or just wait for them to get the 650 or even a Pocket PC phone. The thing is they don't have any Pocket PC phones available to order through them either.

For $250, is the treo 600 a good replacement/upgrade from the sidekick 2? I like being able to have instant messanger and email on the sidekick but would like more expandability like a palmos or pocket pc.

Well if you were to wait on the Treo 650 to come to T Mobile then you would be waiting for a long time. Your best bet would be either to go ahead and get the Treo 600 from T Mobile or to get an unlocked 650 off of ebay or somewhere else. If money is an issue, then the Treo 600 is probably the cheaper way to go.

No I don't think T Mobile is offering any pocket pc phones at this time. They used to carry one about a year or two ago, can't remember which specific brand name or model. You can always by a pocket pc phone some where else and just put your T Mobile sim into the new pocket pc phone if you were to get one. But expect to shell out some $$$ these aren't cheap devices at this time. Best bet is to get a used one off of Ebay or go here (http://www.howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=196) to the HOFO forums Buy Sell Trade section and see if anyone has a used pocet pc or Treo 650 for sale.

It depends on what you mean by expandability? If you want the ability to run more apps but you're not heavy into data entry, you may want to look at a Symbian series 60 phone instead of the Treo or Pocket PC phone. Check out the Nokia 66xx series, 6260 or 7610 phones. There's a similar amount of software available for series 60 phones as there are for other smartphones. They're a lot cheaper than the Treo or Pocket PC phones.

Thanks, I've already ordered the Treo. Can't wait until it gets here.
