After searching the web I keep finding deals like 2 razr v3 for free is there any truth to this? Has any one had any dealings with any of these companies? I’m now with cellular one and thinking about going to cingular on a family plan. I know that I will pay up front but will they pay back the rebates. I have been with cellular one for about 10 years this is the first time to really shop around.
Thanks for your help

RED FLAGS!! RED FLAGS!! RED FLAGS!!

If you did the tiniest bit of research on INPHONIC, you would run away from anything they offered as if it were truly on fire.

Ever wonder why INPHONIC operates under so many names? Wirefly, Intelenet, A1, Cellular Choices...that's literally only ONE HALF of the names they operate under. Hmm, now why would a store need so many fronts?

Doesn't their rebate policy seem extremely shady?

Ever try calling their customer service line once you've ordered? If you call to place an order, you'll get a person immediately. Just try calling their actual customer service line. If you think you're smart, you can try calling their order line about your order, but you know what they say? Sales representatives do not have to access to orders already placed! Now go experience trying to get through on their customer service line.

Beware any of these sites that say "Powered by INPHONIC". Even Buy.com's order fulfillment is by INPHONIC. They are a large company with a hand in many, many places on the internet, but watch out. Do your research and you'll run away too.

Consider yourself warned.

Hi I got my Motorola V710 which they had for free.

I was suppose to get back 2 rebates of 150 bucks each.

The thing is my first 150 bucks mail in rebate came without any problem which I was suppose to send within 120 days with copies of my 1st, 2nd and 3rd wireless bills.

However, on second one they tried to trick me.

On second rebate application it said that I have to mail it to them between 150 and 210 days with copies of my 4th, 5th and 6th wireless bills.

So I did, but they sent me a letter that said that I had to send the second rebate form within 120 days.( they thought that I would let it go and belive them)

So I freaked out and called them and talked to cutomer reps. they told me to call back after 2 weeks.I called back and they told me that they had a MISTAKE (I m sure it was a mistake, yea rright.)

So now they told me that the second rebate application had to be mailed within 150 and 210 days but it turned out that I had calculated my 210 days.

But that wasn't the end of it, I had accidently counted my 210 days wrong and had a post mark date that was after 216 days of my phone service actication. so technically now they were right that I still didn't had my rebate applications mailed to them within the preset time limit.

In short they will first try to deceive you by saying wrong stuff but I am sure if you are organized and punctual about this things and are ready to argue for it you can get your money back. and get the phone for free.

I have learned my lesson, so if any of you plan to do the mail in rebate ALWAYS KEEP COPIES OF EVERY SINGLE THING YOU SEND TO THEM AND IF POSSIBLE GET AN ENVELOPE POSTMARKED IN FRONT OF YOUR EYE BEFORE SENDING IT TO THEM.

My current contract expires in October and yea I do plan to buy it again from them, just this time I will be really careful to send everything within time limits.

The other day I got a Razr V3 w/ 1 year contract free, no rebates...
Only stipulation was if I cancelled within 7 months I'm stuck w/ the full
price of the phone.
