well dl'd motokit, backed up all the files on my phone and turned the earpiece volume up to 4 on my Razr. simple stuff but my first mod to the phone

You gotta crawl before you can walk. I like this stuff, modding a phone worth a few hundred dollars is less scary than modding my car worth thousands of dollars! I have motorola phone tools, motokit and downloaded XVI32 as well. I guess I'll dl the p2k stuff as well and do some more stuff to my phone. maybe get my video recording enabled. nothing too crazy, I like this phone and I use it mainly for calls so I don't need anything fancy. turning the earpiece volume up though has really made my phone much more enjoyable and easier to use, no more cramming the thing into my ear to hear it! one big thing I didn't like about this phone. thanks to all the guys who provide all the great info around here!

I know how you feel. I just got a V600 a couple weeks ago and have flashed/flexed 3 times already getting it the way I want. I used XVI32 and p2kman to edit my earpiece volume and customize some other things as well. I am already looking to get a Moto E398 to play with as well. Its an addiction!!!!!!!!
