Go to my Windows Mobile Site and read what is on the main page. Then to the left you will see catigories...use them to find all the information you need. I have Data settings for Cingular...but the method on adding the GPRS and Proxy connections are the same...if you are using another carrier then you will need to get those settings.

To add GPRS settings:

Start, Settings, Data Connections, Menu, Edit Connections, GPRS Connections, Menu, New

To add Proxy settings:

.................................................. ...., Edit Connections, Proxy Connections, Menu, New.

I also have updated to 3.46 last night and followed every thing EXACTLY same as written in omega's site but am getting following error:
"Unable to place call"
when ever I'm trying to go to any website.....
I have:

Internet connection: PDA Connect
Work connection: Automatic
WAP connection: Automatic
Secure WAP connection: Automatic
WAP Proxy: PDA Connect
Secure WAP Proxy :Automatic

Any thing looks wrong?

Post your GPRS and Proxy Settings....that is where the problem will be at.

Uh....this might be an easy answer. If you're trying to use the internet and you get a "cannot complete call" error, then your phone is trying to actually DIAL a connection.

If you have indeed programmed your GPRS settings correctly, double check that you have enabled "automatically detect my connection" on Pocket Internet Explorer. Also, double check that you have the Internet connection under your connections set to Automatic.

...unless of course you've already tried all this, in which case I'll just go hide under my desk until the world makes sense again.

I don't use the Automatically detect settings thing because it messes things up for me. I think he doesn't have his Data settings correct or he created them under dial up lol...I done that before when I first got my MPx 200.

OK here is what I did:
- I checked the "automatically detect settings" in PIE options->onnections and select network as "The Internet"
- Then I select Data Connections->Internet connection to "automatic" (Previously it was PDA Connect.

- After that when I tried to go to msn website strangely enough it asked me for my company's proxy's username/passwd/domain (I'm at work right now)
I entered it and it let me connect.

Then.... I unchecked the automatically detect settings option in PIE options and it still allows me to connect. (In both cases speed was super good)

- Finally I select "PDA Connect" again and this time it did go to web but with very very slow speed ( Same speed when I checked the automatically detect option).

So since I'm connected via active sync right now with bluetooth does that mean by selecting 'Automatic" it actually allows me to do a pass through connection?

So looks like the key was the Network option under PIE->options->Connections menu that has to be set to "The Internat".

Or if you are going to go to the MEdia Net site you will need to switch it to WAP Network.
