I did the upgrade last night went to work and paired with Lexus gs300 2006 bluetooth on first attempt.

I also updated my Treo from Unlocked/Unbranded FW/SW 1.28/1.13 (customized with no Real Player, no VersaMail, no Tutorial, only English by Shadowmite) to the new Cingular FW/SW 1.31/1.15 and I must say that the OS is much more stable. I've only had 1 soft reset and that was my own dumb fault. I also have Bluetooth DUN (which I don't need/use) but I also got my Bluetooth hot sync to work with my Logitech MX900 mouse/keyboard/usb bluetooth hub working on the first try!

As far as the VersaMail stability, I don't know how much of an improvement it was since I use SnapperMail.

I must say that this is a very good update and should help most people with their problems and increasing the brand loyality to the Treo and more of a positive word of mouth about the device as well.

Hey, i have a little bit of a problem. I have a Cingular Treo 650, and because Cingular was taking so long to release the new firmware, i decided to upgrade to the Unbranded version FW/SW 1.28/1.13, which i did and went fine. Now that the new firmware/software came out, i went to upgraded to that one, and my phone info reads like this after the upgrade, Firtmware 01.31, and Software Treo650-1.13-ROW, but on the palm website say that i'm supposed to get Software ver Treo650-1.15-CNG, or somthing like it. What did i do wrong? is this going to cause me any troubles?

You're supposed to but I did the same thing. I have NO problems with my Treo now...I did have a few before I upgraded to 1.28/1.13 but even since I went to 1.31 I have had 0 resets, more memory

, AND a lot less of a sluggist device. All in all, you're fine...
