hey guys, my friends and i have been experimenting with transferring files to our razr. unfortunately, we havent had much luck. she has a silver razr from cingular trying to connect via usb and BT to MPT, but it wont transfer. im assuming this is blocked by cingular.

i have verizon and am able to edit seems on my phone to enable the features, can this be done on cingular phones? has anyone tried to transfer files to their razr? thanks.

I had no problems transfering files via Bluetooth on the RAZR with MPT just make sure you've downloaded the most current version 3.25b I believe.

yeah I got a cingular razr and MPT as well. I got the upgrade to the latest version and it connects to my phone no problem.

what is better to use with mpt for my razr, a usb cable or the bluetooth pc adapter? what is more efficent and faster? thanks in advance...

Is that via USB or Bluetooth?

I can't get MPT to even recognize my RAZR via BT. I don't have a data cable, but I don't want to get one seeing as how, in theory, I'm supposed to be able to use BT.

And I ran live update, so I assume that I have the latest version of it on my computer. *shrug*

I have no problems too. It could be your bt adapter on your computer.

Hmm. Okay. Well, my BT adapter came with software that recognizes all three of my phones and works just fine for syncing as well as OBEX, but I'm just annoyed I have this copy of MPT that doesn't get along with either of the BT adapters I own.

Urgh.
