You can use songs that you have on your computer and download it onto your phone via a usb cable or BT.

Or you can save the mp3's to your Mini-SD Disk and use the following link to learn how to use ringtones off your SD disk as I have just wrote step by step instructions at:

I was wondering this aswell, All my friends record songs through Voice Memo I beleive? Anyway, and they do something where they set it as a ringtone. Its really cool, but not the best quality.

i read your step by step and tried several times...but i am afraid that i am a novice to this stuff at best...if you could go through a more simplistic step by step i would appreciate it...alot...i've spent hours trying to get this qpst program to work but it says my system doesn't need this update and hell...i don't even know if i have the right stuff downloaded...again...any help would be great

I'm a novice to this stuff too and I spent many days trying to figure what I was doing wrong.
If its the QPST Explorer program your having problems with, you may want to check out this link which explains the basics of uploading .mid tones to your internal memory which is the first step you must do in the process of getting Ringtones to work from your SD-disk. You probably need to download the QPST Configuration application which is how you tell your computer which Com port your phone is. Once you get that set up then the QPST Explorer will be able to see your phone and you'll be able to move data back and forth as needed.
