I have sccuessfully modded my black V3 but have just a couple of further questions for you experts (sorry if already posted but I have searched for ages).

1) The voicemail or text message reminder is either a nasty beep or just a vibrate. Does anyone know if the audio file for the beep can be replaced with something more soothing?

2) If I set up call divert it displays the icon on the main screen top row, but also paints the words "Call Divert" all over the date display. I think this is the same complaint folks had about the GPRS? Is there a way to prevent this?

1) Settings -> Audio -> Ring Details. For some reason, if you have a ringer ID set for a particular caller, that ringtone will play regardless of text message or voice call.

2) From http://xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt:

SEEM 0032_0001

offset 67 - bit 4: Display call divert/forward icon on line 1 and status on line 3 (1 on, 0 off) (must be on if offset 02, bit 4 is on)

Not sure if this answers you question though.

Thanks I 'll try the seem edit for the "Call Divert".

I didn't phrase the other question very well. If a new voice or text message is available, the phone beeps or vibrates as a reminder every few minutes. The only other option is off. (Ring Styles, xxxx Detail, Reminders). Vibrate is only good if you are near the phone and the beep is both irratating and boring.

I have tried setting bit 4 at offset 67 to 0 but it does not seem to make any difference............Oh well it's not really important

So far there isn't a way to get around that beep... we're looking though.

I flashed and flexed using the latest Cingular Branded MotoX to enable video capture and now every time I get a call while using a T-MO tower I get a notification that I am roaming...any way to turn this off?

Yep. Click the Razr in my guide, go to the knowledge base, and scroll down to the seem map.

Another tweak I would like is to stop it going to ADD when you select a contact from the phone book for a text message, then you have to press DONE.

How many times do we send a text message to more than one person? Almost never but this adds just another key stroke (I know I'm very very picky but I'm trying to avoid repetitive strain injury in my thumbs).

Found the answer to the ADD feature when selecting from the phone book. It's offset 3C bit 7 in Seem 0032_0001.
