I use ActiveSync 4.0 under WinXp SP2. My bluetooth connection die on a regular basis, not from distance but lack of transfer i suspect, is there a app or setting to have it stay connected permenantly ? does your Bt session stay connected for as long as you want ? Bt Autosync does the trick but the battery cost is too much. i am looking for an alternative.

i had the same problem with my MPx220 (and AS 4.0) and was never able to resolve it. i have not had this problem with the SMT5600 so i suspect it's a setting or the way Bluetooth is implemented on the MPx220.
