Knocked over a beer last night on my baby....

turned it of, dryed it off, ect. now everything seems to work, except...

some of the key don't work on the key board.

Is there a way to take the thing apart so I can clean it?

thanks

I spilled Dr. Pepper in mine and some of the keys starting sticking and it was acting crazy. Tmobile replaced it for me. I don't know about taking it apart though.

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

If anything do what the poster above said. They also might be able to take it apart and clean it out, would not recommend doing this yourself. Also make sure you go to a T Mobile copr. store.

dont tell them you spilled beer on it though.... just say that your keys dont work when you call in.... only thing is that youre gonna be charged the $70 fee for replacement when they get it

WOW, you spilled beer on a $300 sidekick. Hope you have insurance. I'm on a prepaid plan so I never put mine in any spot where it could be damaged and the only way I let people even touch it is if they put $100 bucks in my hand. I tell them that way if you break it, you just. brought it, lol. Good luck getting you phone fixed

i've spilled tequila on it when taking shots at my friends bday party. like, some fell on the keypad, not alot but some. Non of my keys started sticking or acting up but the top part of it did start unsticking from the phone...like the keypad is slowly coming off but im sure t-mo will replace this without the 70$

I work in bars and had someone spill a drink on my SKII. It fried comepletely after vibrating for 4 hours. It wasn't insured.

Even if your device has water damage (which they check for) they will happily replace the device for the $70.
