SMT 5600 Headphone Jack Help!

I own a smt5600 and recently when I was jogging w/ the phone the headphone jack simply stopped working. I've tried numerous headphones and windows refuses to recognize the phone in headset mode, so i'm guessing the problem is w/ the phone not the headphones. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what are the available solutions. Also I bought this phone over EBAY 7 months ago, and if it needs to be fixed how would I go about doing that. Thanks a lot!

You can send the phone to Audiovox for repair, but, first, try rebooting your phone and worse comes to worst, hard-reset your phone.
