Powering on Problems

hey i have a slider se 47, and the power is not turning on, when i plug it in it says charging is complete, PHONE IS OFF and i try and turn it on but nothing happens, i hit other buttons but it just lights up the screen but doesn't turn on. I think just the button is off, the battery is fully charged, i am sending it to the signal tommorow, but i was just wondering if anyone knew a way to power on the phone without using that button, so that i could get my contacts list and ringers and such. any help is appreaciated!

Hate to say it but the only way I have ever known is by the power button. Sorry

connect your phone with BITPIM. goto filesystem>click on the plus> right click(in certain aeras the following option may not appear)>reboot phone
