i have a tmobile branded treo 600 that reboots itself at midnight, every night, without fail... can't figure out what's causing it. #*377 doesn't seem to log it. anyone else experience this and/or no what might be causing it?

Try changing the time so that "midnight" is in the next hour or so and make certain it is midnight that's triggering it. Do you have any third party alarm programs installed?

sorry, i'm not sure what you mean by that.

it is deinitely rebooting at midnight; not sure if that's what is "causing" it as you put it, but that is when it happens. i do have Treo Alarm installed, but i've had this installed on my phone for over 6 months now and the reboots have only started happening in the past month...

thanks for you help..

It could be the fault of many programs not just alarms. Email apps, IM clients, generally any app with alarms or alerts. Another type of apps that might do this is apps that goes online to do an automatic update or retrieve some information. I will look into the more common apps which does this later but I believe in one of the Verichat's beta it caused resets at a particular time at night too.

I meant set the time to 11:55 PM right now and watch what happens five minutes later. It might give you a clue as to what's causing it and it will confirm that the clock is involved (as opposed to some sort of 24-hour cycle). It's almost certainly some third party software causing it and as the other poster said it could be almost anything. Are you running any automatic backup from RAM to SD? I've seen some of those reboot after they finish.

Probably the only way you can fix it is with a hard reset and installing all programs back one at a time. With everything hot synched to the PC or backed up on the expansion card, sometimes I've had the same problem reinstalled (like a reset loop) if I restored everything at one whack.
