Okay, I got my new smt and the next day my beloved moto headset bit the dust (hs 820) probably in protest of me swapping for the smt. So, I also have a Nokia HDW-2 headset. I can connect to it and get everything set up, the headset icon shows up in the iconbar, but as soon as I go to place a call, it switches to nomal phone (no headset)! I have tried deleting and re pairing several times, several different ways and all to no avail. Is there something I'm missing or does someone know a way to fix this so I can use my headset? Thanks!

When you repaired it, did you make sure to wait, and then select it as "YES" to make sure its a handsfree device, because I had the same problem with my HS810 so I deleted it from the bluetooth part, repaired it and selected yes, and it has always worked fine.

I had the same problem you are having when I was using my SE HBH 300. I suggest you reboot the phone and power off the headset. Then if you haven't already unpair you BT headset and try repairing...Make sure you put the headset in discoverable mode before start the discovery process on your phone. If this doesn't work, unpair the device, turn it off, reboot the phone, and try again....if that doesn't work well.......I am not sure why then...maybe the BT on your phone is malfunctioning...you may want to try pairing other devices to your phone to test that...if you have them of course.
