Possible to tweak CALL PROGRESS screen?

Hi I was just wondering if its possible to tweak the call progress screen, or if theres an application that extends the current options.

I would like the call progress screen to
1.display the current time and day
and perhaps your next appointment or something like that. Also, it would be nice to have an easier way to browse through all of your contacts not just the contact your talking to..

Furthermore, when your in a call and you begin to dail another number to initiate a conference, it doesnt show your contacts.

This stuff might be a bit too complicated to add, but I'm just wondering if its possible to tweak it somehow? Wouldn't it be great if the call progerss screen was like your homepage where you can just edit a simple xml ?

Also is it possible to add the call duration in the call progress homescreen plugin? THX!
