Bitpim or qpst won't detect my Lg 8100!!

im having problems using the data cable.. i just got it 2day ...the one with the black box in the middle and the found new hardware wizard keeps popping up i dunno which driver to install (the one that came with the cable on the cd,Lge (which i cannot find on the site) or ne others some1 please help...i keep getting different info... can sum1 post a good tutorial on this for a newbie thanx!

You have to get the beta version 7.35 it recognizes the 8100....with the older version u have to set it as the 8000 and just look at the filesystem
