im deciding to buy either the se k700 or the motorola e398.....any suggestions??? and what are the pros and cons of both???

Id go with the e398. It doesnt have video recording like the k700, but u can seem edit it on there pretty easily, and plus it has a transflash slot so u can use the mp3 player with the STEREO speakers, te k700i doesnt have either of those.

if you'd like stability, and a dependable and fast ui i'd go with the k700i, though its only drawback is the lack of expandable memory.

The newer flashes of the E398 are fast aswell

e398 coul be upgraded to i398 or e798 and have a videorecorder,itunes,more memory.

This is a tough choice! I remember I had the same problem when these two first came up but I ended up going with the E398 simply because I liked the idea of the stereo speakers and flashing lights at the time.

The K700 is a very nice phone though as well and there was many times when I thought about buying one of those as well.

In the end I would recommend you get the E398 if you like Motorola's personally after using some many of them I find them boring but for the average user go for it!

You'll get used to the clunky Motorola OS after a while, but you won't get used to lack of features. Sadly, I'll say E398.
