Short Antenna for Treo 650 (GSM Version) Possible?

I am a sales person who drives all day long... After using i-Mate Jam for a few months, I find it quite dangerous to dial with touch screen. I am looking into switching back to Treo 650 (got a Treo 600 last year but got sick of the screen and Mapopolis as GPS software) or HP's 65XX. Honestly speaking, I don't like 65XX's size but likes the fact that it has integrated GPS and no antenna.
But I value the size better so I made my mind on Treo 650. Now the question is, is there such thing as "short" or "stubby" antenna for Treo 650? These little neat things are available for cellphones on eBay but there doesn't seem to be any for Treo 650. I also searched Google but cannot seem to find one either. Is there one out there that I am not finding? Is there anyone planning to manufacture one?

Not available for the Treo.

In my experience they always seem to cause a drop in signal quality anyway so they're not worth it.

Does the Treo even have an internal antenna?

I wouldnt mind seeing Treo faceplates . Nowadays not many phones can use faceplates.

The factory "stubby" antenna on my CDMA 650 is only 1 inch long, how short do you want? I also use an external roof mount antenna that plugs into the hole in the back of the Treo 650, so I gain in better reception and transmitting. I have a couple of dead areas iwhere I live, and the external antenna takes care of the problem. I'm not sure if the GSM version has the same antenna configuration.
