If you are as frustrated as I am, why almost all web-sites exclude Cricket as a carrier type for text alerts/email, (I'm guessing there is payola involved) please contact the web administrator of that site and send them the following information:
Quote:
Subject: Carrier ID for Cricket

Update for your website.
https://www.somedomain.com/text-alert_form-page.html

Cricket uses format (10-digit phone number)@mms.mycricket.com for wire-less text alerts.
Example:
1234567890@mms.mycricket.com

PLEASE update your web sites and forms accordingly for inclusion.

thanks,
your name
your email address

If we fight together, we can make a difference!

P.S. Substitute web form address and your information as appropriate!

The above format definitely works for MMS customers (those with the inclusive plans that can send or receive pix). It may or may not work for text only customers. Cricket is tentatively getting that information for me as well.
