Sync Question

I have a Treo 650. When I am on my laptoptop and the Treo is connected via USB how come it doesn't sync automatically. It seems that in the past when I had a PPC I could type away on the computer & the PPC was been synced always. ANy help?

Pocket PC's can be set up to sync automatically. As far as I know, the user must initiate a hotsync.

They all cost money, but any one of them should do the trick. I'm sure there are other apps that do it, but I'm lazy and yeah, but searching is always a good idea.
