does any one know how to get external wallpappers on a 730?

You need to use the i860 external wallpaper app. Pictures need to be 96x16 and in .png format. There has been many new threads in the past few days about this same question you ask....Start reading those as a starting point.

The i730 does not have a cid screen capable of showing pics, only the i860 can.

PS- Hypr69, did you read the subject?

Yes I did read the subject. Did you? You CAN have like your name or logos on the i730 cid screen. I do. Look around on other forums for the answers...

as far as the definition of wallpapers on cell phones, yes

what they do on the i730s is change the text or put symbols on the screen but no pics, kind of like the hex mod done on the i90s and i95s

ok, I am really lost with this. I understand that the 730 images have to be in black and white only, and that the dimensions are 96x16. I also understand that the files have to be in PNG format. I already have the i860 external wallpaper program on my phone and I cant figure out how to get the PNG file I created onto the phone itself so I can use it in the application and use it as my "wallpaper". If anyone can please give me some more insight how to do this, i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Once you open up the wallpaper app, add the wallpapers you want to use. Click generate WAL, then JAR and JAD. You then load the file you just created via webjal not by loading wallpapers, but by loading j2me apps.

Can anyone help me? I have my daughters i730T, I created a name png for her, but when I tried to load it using idenStop, it didnt create the file to load, when I tried to load the extwall program on her phone, it stops at resolution when its installing. Whats up with that? I also have a problem adding more wallpapers to my i870 using the same program. I think the jad file is stuck on the same wallpaper...
