It really depends on what you're looking for: a PDA or an e-mail machine. I would say that the Treo 650 is more of a PDA with phone capabilities; while the Blackberry 7100g is an e-mail machine, with some PDA functions and phone capabilities. Moreover, if you purchase either from Cingular, they will require that you get a data plan ($39.99/$44.99). As such, the Treo 650 is the better choice because it has class 10 EDGE.

Blackberry is better for email,, but I went with the treo650 because of the camera and huge selection of 3rd party software. One email program that is a must have is ChatterEmail. It adds push email to the treo and makes it almost as good as a Blackberry. It works perfect and truly is instant. No subscription fees either, it's $32.00 and comes with free upgrades for life.
If I hadn't found that program I would have went with the Blackberry.

Treo 650 by far (im speaking from personal experience after owning both)
Everyone always brings up the e-mail issue that the blackberry has the push e-mail which is better than the blackberry and blah blah blah. but in reality, there are many e-mail clients for the treo (one being by Good that allows for push e-mail and has been professionally rated as just as fast if not faster than the blackberry's e-mail client
so thats my personal opinion.... Treo 650

Treo 650 hands down. Even though you are supposed to get it with the dedicated data plan which runs more than the media works, it will still work with the media works. The blackberry won't. I have been using my Treo 600 and 650 with the media works without a hitch.
My vote goes to the Treo, if it was not obvious.

how long have you been using it with media works?
